i LOVE this place. Every time i go visit family in the Bay Area i ask to come here. All the food is good, but especially the dumplings and the noodles. The service is not the greatest, but i mean what do you expect from a chinese restaurant.

I would give the food 3 stars and service 1. Waited around 10-15 min to get a table which wasn't bad but once we did receive a table I noticed that ppl who were seated after us were placing their orders before a waiter even approached us.Had the pan fried buns which were really good, green onion pancake which was mediocre at best, assorted egg rolls (one of which was still extremely cold, almost frozen, when I bit into it), and the won ton soup which was ok.

This is still my favorite Xiao long bao place! For $5-6, you get 6 nice plump juicy dumplings that are filled with flavor!Their spicy fish fillet soup thing is also sooooo good. Just the right amount of spiciness and Filled with fish! Yummmmm!!!!!!! One of my favorite dishes here.Stir fry rice cake is always solid. Perfectly cooked and flavored. Just A little sweet!Service can be terrible but I don't care. The food is amazing!!!!!!!

This place has one of the best dumplings around here, and since our other favorite dumpling place has recently closed, this one is our new favorite! The dumplings are good, the other food is alright, but really all you need is a plate of the dumplings. They're so hearty too since they're big and have a breading around them instead of a more noodle-like wrap. The restaurant is pretty dirty looking, and hole-in-the-wall-ish, but I don't mind that at all because the dumplings are so amazing.I would give the dumplings themselves 5 stars, and believe me, I'm stingy with my 5 star reviews, but these would get them. Unfortunately, the other food is really not up to par with them, so 4 stars it is.So delicious. I wish there were more dumpling places like this around - the soup inside is so flavorful and delicious, and you have to eat them so carefully in order to not burn yourself or to not spill all of the juice all over your plate/lap. It's a skill you've got to develop :)
